Responsibilities:
• Report to the Construction/Project Director and will be supported by the Structural & MEP Engineers, Site Engineers and Inspectors.
• Providing Design Coordination, construction supervision and project management for seven of forty mixed use high rise buildings under concurrent construction deadlines.
• All incoming and outgoing correspondences with the client & main contractor related to Architectural & technical matters.
• Supervising, monitoring & Evaluating Project progress for timely completion.
• Chairing the project progress meetings, coordination meetings & Architectural meetings.
• Response to technical queries/RFI related to Architectural matters.
• Assisted with implementing LEED status and following the buildings through their upgrades to LEED status.
• Response to technical approval, queries, Inspection Request (IR’s) related to all vertical transport (Lift, Escalator and Stairs), façade and Finishing works for all seven parcels of Zone 2 in co-ordination with structural & MEP Engineers.
• Direct supervision and coordination of the construction works to achieve construction in accordance with the Contract Documents.
• Direct, assist and monitor the performance of the construction team namely, the Engineers, inspectors, surveyors and materials teams. Lead the construction supervision team on site
• Manage construction supervision, quality control, financial control, hand over and other site operations.
• Act as the point of contact for Contractors.
• Monitor progress against accepted construction schedule and review the Contractors progress reports. Be responsible for ensuring that the sections of works are constructed in accordance with the contract requirements.
• Check contractor\'s submissions and shop drawings
• Respond to the contractor\'s request for information
• Liaise with the Material Engineer on required testing and the test results all sections of the works.

• Leading the design team for design development from Employers requirement to contractor’s proposal.
• Reviewing and finalizing the preparation of design strategies to address the contract requirement.
• Review and coordination of architectural engineering design submittals as well as following up site supervision, design conflicts and variation orders.
• Review Design submissions, technical submittal and design layouts as well as material submittals.
• Assimilation of design brief, leading the design development, working closely with different disciplines, proactive design coordination, establishing communication protocol & ensuring delivery of defect free design on time.
• Developing, monitoring and regularly reviewing design program. Design optimization by identifying design dependencies and prioritizing design activities to ensure a smooth delivery.
• Design Risk Management, Identifying value engineering opportunities & contributing to commercial management.
• Safety in Design: Ensuring design is safe to construct, running design safety workshops.
• Check the drawings and specifications of the project.
• Plan and maintain project budgets and schedule planning activities with team and managers.
• Attend and lead progress & technical meetings, discuss and suggest technical proposals.
• Take part in project and risk management reviews.
• Coordinate between the construction and contractors’ engineering teams ensuring that all requirements are conveyed clearly and delivered upon.
• Coordinate with quantity surveyors or payment appreciations and change orders.
• Review and approve the shop drawings, Material Submittals with respect to the project Specification and Standards of practice submitted by contractors.
• Continually review the contractor’s construction schedule during the progress of site works.
• Review Contractor’s material proposals against specified technical performance requirements.
• Review Contractor’s proposed sub-contracto
