1. JOB DETAILS:Title: Business Development EngineerReports to: Manager Sales & Marketing Area: Sales & Marketing

2. JOB PURPOSE:To identify and develop new business opportunities - new partnerships, or new product or service offerings to better meet the needs of existing markets/customers in order to achieve the overall business strategy.
3. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: DescriptionBusiness Development  Develop new concepts and ideas to launch new products/services offerings that meet customer demands in order to improve sustainable growth Develop and analyse the necessary consumer market data related to demand and supply in key segments, regional trends and movement in competitive landscape and submit to senior management in order to support informed decision making Analyse company’s competitive position and recommend appropriate changes accordingly in order to ensure protection of products, services Engage with technology companies for possible ventures/ partnerships to induct new products/ services. Performance Indicators Effective product marketing communication Actionable conclusions are recommended to management Pre-Qualification with Clients DescriptionBudget Assist in developing the budget by preparing analysis and data related to specific elements as directed.Performance Indicators Approved budget in place. Compliance to budget by team.

APPLICATION OF GUIDELINES & DECISION MAKING AUTHORITYGuidelines: Thinking within diversified yet well defined procedures with available assistance.Decision Making:Operating within standard practices and procedures, key end results are reviewed periodically. 4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS: Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Chemical/Process Engineering Preferably Master Business Administration MBA Minimum Experience: 6-8 years relevant experience of plant services business, including at least 2 years in positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities Preferable working experience with oil & gas companies for manufacturing, maintenance, retrofits, projects, shutdowns etc.  Preferable work experience of Europe/United States in similar industries.
