• Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
• Maintains organization staff by establishing a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program; counseling managers on candidate selection; conducting and analyzing exit interviews; recommending changes.
• Prepares employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs.
• Prepare employment contracts and NDA agreements.
• Track leave management and communicate with finance personnel about effects on pay.
• Oversee and implement travel management by obtaining visas, using a booking system (Booking.com, Expedia etc.) to book the cheapest flights and accommodations and dealing with any changes, complaints and refunds.
• Monitors and advises managers and supervisors in the implementation of a performance management system.
• Maintains management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
• Nurture a positive work environment.
• Maintains historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system; keeping past and current records.
• Conducts investigations when employee complaints or concerns are brought forth.
• Act as liaison between the company and outside legal and professional resources to ensure that all employment policies follow current laws and regulations.
• Conduct and track all governmental related transactions (online and in-person) with SAGIA, MOCI, GOSI, and MOL (e.g. processing GOSI payment, issuing Visas, renewing Iqama and subscriptions, etc.).
• Coordinate with KAUST Innovation Fund, KAUST Research and Technology Park, KAUST Technology Transfer Office and KAUST Government Affairs and all concerned KAUST organizations.
• Maintaining good relations with KAUST management and make sure no violations are being made while conducting business.
• Ensuring that all KAUST related transactions (visitor passes, ID renewals, contract renewals, new employee contracts etc.) are completed in advance.
