Manage and ensure a high level of performance within the Corporate Service department activities that include:

  • Legal affairs
  • Govt. relation excluding employee related affairs.
  • Workers' accommodation, transportation, housekeeping, sanitation and hygiene, catering services, recreation and good, healthy living environment
  • Utility services for all locations including workers’ accommodation, and payments for utilities
  • Housekeeping and sanitation
  • Disposal of garbage from all locations, and payments
  • Transportation and maintenance of vehicles
  • Security services, and reception
  • Telephone, cell phone and fax, and payments of bills
  • Mailing services (internal and external)
  • Courier service, and payment
  • Ticketing service for vacation as well as for business, and payment
  • Supply of office stationery
  • Facility management
  • Tea/coffee services
  • Protocol services
  • Events management
  • Archival; Asset disposal and destruction 

Manage the process of obtaining:

  • Work visas for overseas recruitment of required manpower
  • Commercial visas / visit visas for foreigners to visit the company for business purposes
  • Visit visas for company personnel to visit foreign countries for business purposes.
  • Attestations of invoices / documents from govt/semi-govt. agencies/embassies/consulates
  • Translations of documents
  • New / renewal of operational licenses for plants and warehouses / lands or facilities on lease, and payment of lease / rentals
  • New / renewal of registrations for company vehicles and their insurance

Source and procure utilities and other essential services from providers and administer contracts (preparing, reviewing, negotiating and finalizing contracts and payments for utilities) Ensure proper maintenance of vehicles at the disposal of the department, and timely registrations / renewal of registrations for all company vehicles and their insurance cover.

Manage the services of:

  • Security related services for people, buildings/sites/facilities and materials
  • Allocation of parking space for company personnel and visitors
  • Reception ensuring presentation and professionalism for receptionists 

Plan, design and manage allocation of space for offices / services and provide required furniture/ office equipment ensuring their optimum use in a cost-effective manner Oversee building renovation activities including housing units in coordination with CMD and ensure they fully meet environmental, healthy, safety and security standards. Assist in company’s facility expansion programs (such as identifying land for building structures/storing/warehousing etc.) Events management including conference/party arrangements successfully meeting generally specified requirements.

Crisis management ensuring no loss/minimal loss to men and materials

Periodically evaluate effectiveness and quality of services provided (thru surveys and other means within the organization) and take appropriate steps for improvement.

Closely monitor service activities as per the business plan and take proper steps for cost reduction without affecting quality and required volume of service

Manage subordinate staff, define their duties and responsibilities, assign work, evaluate performance and take appropriate steps for improvements
