Inventory Management/ Warehouse

Ø  Planning and monitoring warehouse operations of receipt, storage, return of unsold stock, inventory control and monitoring inbound logistics.

Ø  Ensuring accurate stock records are kept.

Supply Chain Management

Ø  Working on the:

o    Cost, time, wastage, damage reduction.

o    Location wise or operation wise strategy development.

Ø  Tracking & maintaining inventory levels in the stores for all items required.

Ø  Managing the inventory levels thereby ensuring optimum use of inventory.

Ø  Material management & store keeping in an industrial warehouse/stores. Responsible for Receipt & Issue of materials, prepare & maintain the GRN & MRN and other important documents. He should be competent in Logistics ,Transportation, Inventory control, Physical Verification of stock, Material Codification, Raising stock control items requirement, reporting and MIS of all activities.

Ø  Troubleshoots any assigned problems with purchase orders, deliveries.

Job Objectives:

Ø  To manage the company’s multiple Stores/Warehouses at Various locations. Key accountabilities include ensuring continuity of business operations by maintaining optimal levels of Inventory & smooth functioning of Stores. The Main Store Manager role is to implement and monitor key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of the Stores & Inventory management operations.

Ø  To address all aspects of the Stores and Inventory Management functions.

Ø  To ensure Receipt, Issue and Stores accounting is done as per company laid down policy and guideline.

Ø  To provide Leadership and Guidance to in-charges of various Stores and work towards optimization of Inventory and effective utilization of space.

Ø  Accountable for all material received and issued, proper storage & preservation, material handling, stock verification and reconciliation.

Ø  Maintain proper co-ordination and cordial relationship with internal customers and suppliers as well as contractors.

Job Responsibilities:

Ø  Sound Experience of handling multiple Stores.

Ø  Implement and monitor key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of the Stores & inventory management operations.

Ø  Maintaining a lean stock with no stock outs, managing the near expiry, slow & non-moving and supplier returns.

Ø  Monitor the Employee activities of various Stores.

Ø  Minimizing area of stores by proper material handling systems & kaizens.

Ø  Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.

Ø  Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.

Ø  Ensuring day to day operation of store function (GRN, INVOICING, PIV, RECONCILLATION etc.).

Ø  Oversee Proper Storage and Preservation of Materials.

Ø  Oversee Materials Handling and Transportation.

Ø  Monitoring the Scrap Policy and its implementation (getting Scrap declaration, raising sale

Ø  Responsible for Inward & Outward movement of Stores.

Ø  Adhere to KRAs / KPIs of corporate SCM team and report on monthly basis.

Ø  Maintaining Minimum & Maximum Level of Critical & Fast-Moving Items.

Ø  Monitoring all types of material inventory in SAP Module

Ø  Internal audit queries rectification and explanations to Management

Ø  Co-ordination with Purchase, O&M, Planning, Projects Department

Ø  Vendor & Customer Management skills.

Ø  Inventory-level Fixation, ABC/FSN/VED Analysis

Ø  Monitor Variance of Book Balance Vs. Actual Inventory.

Ø  Heading the Job of Internal Auditor. Visiting to Project Site, looking after the follow up of stores process, Objective and inspection of documents. Forwarding of audit report to Top management, defining of process and its implementation.

Ø  Prepare and submit Management Information Reports.

Ø  Effective Communication skills, Quantitative, Qualitative & Analytical skills.

Ø  Sound Knowledge of Safe Work Practices and HSE aspects of Contract Management.
