• To initiate and oversee all audit fieldwork and wrap up activities.
  • To execute all outlined audits and document the activities and findings so as to effectively formulate conclusion regarding the results and the overall effectiveness of the controls.
  • To establish partnerships with business management and other risk/control functions to ensure that risks associated with all aspects of MEDGULF’s activities are managed at appropriate levels of internal controls.
  • To immediately notify all audit issues/concerns to the Internal Audit Team Leader by escalating the matter and providing suggested recommendations and corrective measures along with it.
  • To manage, mentor and discharge the Junior Internal Auditors by reviewing and following-up with their work plans, audits and monitoring their performance.
  • To obtain, analyze and appraise audit data to create an informed objective opinion about the adequacy and effectiveness of the audit systems and the efficiency of the performance of activities.
  • To communicate all routine audit findings along with suitable recommendations to the Internal Audit Team Leader through discussions and audit working papers.
  • To prepare and submit periodic audit working papers and reports to Internal Audit Team Leader on all audit activities and system checks carried out, expressing professional opinion on the adequacy and effectiveness of the systems.
  • To ensure compliance with the applicable legislations to protect company from legislative lawsuits, breaches and penalties.
  • Skills

    -Experience in Internal Auditing
    CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) is preferable
    -Good Presentation skills
    -Strong Communication skills, English and Arabic Language, written and verbal
    -Good Business analytical skills
    -Sound knowledge in Technical audits/ insurance competency
    -Good Ability to write reports
    -Good ability to work in teams ? Critical Thinking & Problem Solving skills
    -Leadership
    -Management
    -Proper Exposureto IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards)and ISA (International Standards on Auditing)
