BRAND MANAGER – FMCG

The Brand Manager is to manage the broad spectrum of job functions, from brand strategy planning, marketing, advertising and promotions to market research and product development.

Key Responsibilities

Ø  Monitor, analyze and evaluate domestic and international market trends, consumer behavior and competitor activity to identify market opportunities for the products/services

Ø  Effectively market products/services by conducting market research, consumer research, overseeing product development and design, setting prices, launching new products, overseeing advertising campaigns and monitoring sales performance

Ø  Designing Innovative projects and events to drive and increase sales and profit growth

Ø  Developing and maintaining the social media platform for the respective brands alongside the regular marketing and advertising campaigns

Ø  Update KPIs, sales and brand equity scores regularly

Ø  Analyze the customer feedback to generate new product ideas and liaise with other areas of the organization

Ø  Meeting with key accounts, clients and various departments periodically to study the sales progress and growth and to plan strategies for the upcoming promotions / events

Ø  Ensure all marketing activities comply with developed annual budgets, quarterly forecast and monthly demand plans and reporting results of departments

Ø  Work with the sales department to prepare sales forecasts and budgets, monitor sales volume, revenues and cost against forecast and adapt plans to improve the sales performance of the products and services

Ø  Contribution to key projects assigned – cost saving initiatives, better negotiation/pricing, new product development, etc.

Ø  Presenting performance reports to senior management on regular basis

Qualification, Experience and Skills

Degree in Business Management or MBA with Marketing Specialization from a Premier Institute

A Senior Brand Management Professional with 7+ years’ experience, having creative mind and strong business acumen, good organizational skills, regional/multi-regional knowledge in handling high profile brands and big budgets and experienced in managing multiple projects or product lines will be extremely attractive to the Position

·         Previous experience with International FMCG Groups / Brands

·         Proven track records in building brands and launching new products

·         Basic level of marketing competencies such as consumer insights, concept development, consumer understanding & market research, advertising & communication, media & communication, packaging development, consumer promotion and project management

·         Good communication and written English skills

·         A team player with strong inter-personal skills and “Can do” attitude
