• Follow all club policies and procedures as outlined by your Manager.
  • Administers and evaluates client health history questionnaires and physiological data to determine appropriate individual and group exercise/activity regiments.
  • Plans and implements individualized or group exercise/activity programs and cross-training programs for clients in such general and/or specialized areas as aerobics, stretching/flexibility training, PNF stretching, circuit training, sports performance, of general fitness.
  • Determines format and content of exercise/activity program based on individual client needs.
  • Independently demonstrates and instructs clients on proper technique in standard and specialized exercise areas.
  • Set up and monitors training equipment; ensures equipment is returned in serviceable condition.
  • Advises participants on program and class policies and procedures, as appropriate.
  • Track client progress and maintains complete and accurate client files.
  • Maintain records of sessions conducted through Aphelion and attendance sheet with client's signature after session.
  • Make follow up calls to learn of a member’s satisfaction and making new appointments.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by management.
  • Ensure that all equipment is clean and in good and proper working order.
  • Schedule on-going cleaning and repair for equipment.
  • Be knowledgeable and promote all club programs.
  • Continue your fitness education by taking accredited classes, attending industry seminars and reading about new concepts.
  • Serve as consultant to other fitness department staff.
  • Promote member retention by working with management for new ideas and implementation plans.
  • Be a customer service advocate and lead by example.
  • Return all phone calls within 24 hours and be punctual for appointments and meetings.
  • Be professionally attired and wear the right uniform and name tag while in facility.
  • Work together as a team with the rest of the fitness staff to achieve the fitness department’s goals and standards as set by Gold’s Gym Management.
  • Work as Fitness sales representative in front reception to promote and sell fitness packages and services.
  • Achieving monthly target as set by your manager.
  • Maintain regular attendance.
  • Maintain a positive attitude at all times.
