Main Responsibilities:

  • Review and delivery of high level reports to AdvaComm Leadership on a regular/ ad-hoc basis
  • Effectively manage escalations
  • Develop back up plan and focus on cross training the team
  • Own & review of AdvaComm books of accounts
  • Manage all finance functions in tandem (AR, AP, GL, Treasury, FP&A, Reporting, Statutory, etc.)
  • Ensure delivery of monthly reporting packs to key stake holders
  • Manage expectation, variance analysis and explanation to other departments
  • Manage, develop and implement the aspects of quality compliance and accuracy attributes
  • Review the existing quality processes and procedures and provide suggestions for improvement in business processes for efficient functioning
  • Work on internal projects and drive the team to deliver goods on those projects
  • Manage the department and ensure that the team consistently delivers quality results
  • Redesigning the budgeting process in line with project demands to identify key business drivers
  • Monitoring performance of the business against the annual budget and long-term business plan
  • Perform analysis on actual and forecasted performance. Assess the reasonableness of forecasts and identify and communicate areas of risk.
  • Developing financial case and feasibility studies for business expansion opportunities
  • Management of treasury activities across the group
  • Manage relationship with banks and ensure adequate finance facilities are in place as and when required
  • Oversee the billing and collection process
  • Ensure tax compliance requirements of entities operating in other MENA countries

  Team Management Responsibilities: As a Manager and team leader you will:

  • Carry out appraisals and be responsible for counseling & mentoring of subordinates
  • Plan timely training for respective departments to maintain and improve skills of team members
  • Work with supervisors to understand the team’s concerns and resolve them
  • Delegate tasks appropriately and develop Supervisors and others to move to next level
  • Work under pressure, managing absenteeism, attrition and people issues
  • Handle internal escalation as well as escalation from other teams regarding people issues.
  • Providing effective solutions and guiding team members on various Functional issues
  • Ensure the career development plan for each team member is adhered
