Job Description

  • Makes sales calls with the objective of acquiring new and additional corporate accounts/clients and cash business, including Holidays and Leisure.
  • Maintain excellent relations with clients/customers and provide support and assistance ensuring that all travel requirements are handled efficiently.
  • Keep the Sales Manager informed about competitors and market trends/practices.
  • Liaise with Sales Manager in formulating strategies aimed at obtaining specific high yield commercial accounts.
  • Solicit travel business on cash basis from individual clients/accounts.
  • Plan and sell accommodations, transportations, fights and other travel services.
  • Provide relevant information, brochures and publications (guides, local customs, maps, regulations, events etc) to travellers.
  • Cooperate with clients to determine their needs and advise them appropriate destination, modes of transportations, travel dates, costs and accommodations.
  • Maintain and provide regular reports in prescribed formats-Assists in reconciliation of accounts & collections in coordination with Finance Department.
  • Ensure sales target are met in coordination with other team members.
  • Implement and execute all sales objectives and action plans to reach and exceed targets set.
  • Ensure that selling strategies are adhered to during negotiations and maximize up selling opportunities whenever possible.
  • Develop a complete knowledge of company sales policies and SOP’s, and ensure knowledge of and adherence to those policies.
  • Monitor production of all top accounts and evaluate trends within your market.
  • Regularly contact existing accounts based on the tracing frequencies of the Account Coverage Program.
  • Meet or exceed sales solicitation call goals as assigned by the Sales Manager
  • Assist in the preparation of required reports in a timely manner.


Degree in Commerce, hospitality, travel, Tourism, Business or relevant field., Very Good Command in English., Travel & Tourism Experience is Preferred., Strong sales skills and commercial awareness.
