Job Description

Policies, Processes & Procedures

§ Implements approved departmental policies, processes, procedures and provides instructions to subordinates and monitor their adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner

Day- to-day operations

§ Implements the day-to-day operations assigned for the Sales to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures


§ Oversees and participates in the development and maintenance of business relationships with clients to provide them with superior customer service and support

§ Manages the processing of demands from customers, the writing of invoices and following up on the payments

§ Sends instructions to the Operations department to arrange the services demanded by the clients

§ Prepares packages, seeks approval, and coordinates with dealers for the offering of these packages

§ Ensures the daily documentation and entry of sales information into the database

§ Assists in conducting market research for markets within operations scope, and develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the different customer bases and needs

External Liaison

§ Coordinates allotments with hotels to make sure demand is met with an according supply of accommodation

Direction of Subordinates

§ Organises and supervises the activities and work of a small team of subordinates to ensure that all work within a specific area of the Sales activity is carried out in an efficient and procedurally compliant manner

Continuous Improvement

§ Contributes to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement


§ Prepares departmental reports of ELAF timely and accurately to meet company and department requirements, policies and standards

Safety, Quality & Environment

§ Complies with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment

Related Assignments

§ Performs other related duties or assignments as directed

Minimum Qualifications:

§ Bachelor degree

Minimum Experience:

§ 6 years relevant experience in Sales including at least 2 years in positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities


§ English Language - Advanced

§ Knowledge of Policy & Procedure - Advanced

§ Time Management - Intermediate

§ Business Skills & Understanding - Advanced

§ Financial Awareness - Intermediate

§ Data Gathering & Analysis - Intermediate

§ Negotiation - Intermediate

§ Information Technology - Intermediate

§ Performance Management – Intermediate

§ Presentation –Intermediate

§ Project Management – Intermediate

§ Written Communication – Intermediate
