ü To develop and implement the project HSE Strategy, framework, policies, Safety Management System and specific Safety Management Plans as they apply to the project.
ü Ensure that safe working practices were adopted for the following activities like rigging operations, erection of the pre casting elements, erection of pipe rack and pipe, excavations, working at height, scaffolding, concrete pouring, blasting operation, spray painting, welding, gas cutting, grinding, confined space entry, electrical safety, manual handling etc.
ü Conducting exercises & emergency drills to determine employees, readiness and make recommendations for the improvement of their effectiveness.
ü Coordinate for emergency response plans.
ü Check over work methods and precautions with supervision before the work starts.
ü Check the worksite daily and correct unsafe act and condition, Check all operators and drivers should have a valid Saudi government license and third party certification.
ü Make a Traffic management Plan. Check the equipment and vehicles that will be used on site are maintained in good operating condition and have a monthly color code.
ü Assure all tools being used are correct and in a good working condition with safety devices & guards, check correct tools being used for the job being performed, check all plugs and extension cables are safe to use with fully isolated and monthly color coded.
ü Check all crane should have a valid third party inspection sticker. Assure all riggers should have a valid third party certificate.
ü Provide safety, health and environment advice to project teams so they can successfully plan, develop, implement and complete projects while maintaining high professional standards.
