- Human Resources Advisor
- HR Advisors are involved in a wide range of activities that relate to the management of employees. A key part of the role is to make sure that the company is complying with employment law and managing their employees properly.
- Typial Day/Duties.
- Advertise job vacancies, interview job applicants, prepare offer letters
- Gives managers advice on employment law and good people management practice
- Handles poor performance or disciplinary matters
- Manages sickness absences
- Make changes to salaries, terms and conditions of employment, prepare reassignment/transfer letters
- Obtains visas and work permits for employees going overseas
- Designs and delivers training courses

- Most medium and large sized companies will have an HR Department. The work done by the HR Advisor plays a part in helping companies attract, recruit and retain high quality people and to invest in staff training and career development.
- Basic entry requirements include (necessary)
- Previous experience in an HR role

- Membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) or studying towards membership
