Design Engineers research and develop ideas for new products, equipment and systems or improvements to existing equipment or processes relating to a variety of different technical disciplines and areas of specialty.
Typial Day/Duties.
Designs and prepares engineering drawings to relevant standard.
Utilises Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Computer Assisted Engineering (CAE) in the development of parts, equipment and systems.
Maintains technical documentation.
Provides technical support and guidance to offshore or on site teams.

This role supports the design, development and manufacture of specialist parts, equipment and operating systems. Design Engineers work closely with other engineering disciplines to ensure that the project or client requirements are met.
Basic entry requirements include (necessary)
HND in a relevant subject with related work experience or equivalent or;
Degree in a relevant discipline.
Employers might also look for (desirable)
Willing to become a Chartered Engineer (a professionally recognised qualification)
Willing to and has the ability to gain offshore safety training and Medical Certificate
Work experience in a similar role gained during College/University/study
Typical starting salary may be in the region of
AED23,000 – AED30,000
Typical Salary once experienced
AED45,000 upwards
