We at ATS are looking for a skilled Accountant clerk to perform a variety of data entry, bookkeeping and accounting tasks.
An Accountant clerk produces and maintains business records for a company. He or she will enter all business transactions into accounting software, check this data for accuracy, and produces reports on this information. The accountant should be familiar with all accounting principles and procedures that will ensure that the company’s daily accounting functions are running accurately and effectively.
Accountant Responsibilities and Duties:
- Providing accounting assistance to the finance department
- Typing accurately as the data entered is sensitive
- Preparing and maintaining accounting documents and records
- Reconcile accounts in a timely manner
- Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
- Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas
- Constantly update job knowledge
