Accountant - (3 - 10 yrs experience) The employee for the position of Accountant at AKM&PARTNERS will mainly carry financial and accounting activities as well as related administrative tasks. The employee is requested to full comprehend and carry on with delivering the job responsibilities according to the company’s standards, procedures and policies.
The day-to-day activities requires skills in researching, documenting, analysing and provide solution for complex accounting issues; help in the development of business goals and strategies; present weekly, monthly and annual reports; review and monitor financial transactions. Candidate will be responsible of various accounting tasks including the preparation of journal entries, accounts reconciliations, bank statements, reporting, and other data analysis and presentations.
Requires attention and cross checking of information and accuracy in reports and records. Preparation of financial statements and reports in a timely manner. Monitor contracts to be sure that clients, vendors and suppliers are in compliance with the terms and conditions. Clearing of invoices and reconciling accounts
Skills Skills for this position are typically acquired through completion of an undergraduate and graduate degree and a minimum of 3-10 years of experience in accounting or a strongly related field of commerce, finance and business administration. Accounting certification is preferred. The applicant should excel in communication skills and participate and lead team workshops as well as having Project Management skills and experiences. Candidates with knowledge and experiences related to engineering services, construction, monitoring resources will highly considerate for this position. Knowledge of SAP and activity-based cost accounting is also preferred
Qualifications Degree in Commerce or Accounting (CA / ACCA) Experience in Accounting no less than (Minimum 3 years) Strong skills in Microsoft Office especially Excel. Excellent presentation, communication and writing skills. Abilities in English and Arabic languages will be highly considered for this job. Transferable Visa / Iqama
