Job Description

Main Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for identifying, cultivating and securing key strategic partnerships in support of driving awareness and activation opportunities supporting the business strategy objectives.
  • Oversees the development of country partnership strategies by building strong relationships with local ministerial and relevant governmental and private counterparts in the priority country to ensure positive and constructive relationships are developed and maintained.
  • Ensures availability, knowledge and access of all required data sources by overseeing the generation/production of standardized and ad-hoc reports and their regular updates to develop and continuously keep current relevant insight on the country in scope.
  • Oversees and monitors the analysis of policies and regulations associated with the partner country by obtaining input necessary for the research and business development to support testing, refining and detailing of priority partnership opportunities.
  • Works in close collaboration with Relationship Management, Research and Studies, and Events & Affairs teams across a variety of opportunities to increase the reach and impact of the organization’s profile and visibility and to promote the relationship with partner country in scope.
  • Manages and maintains portfolios of partnerships, associated works, and relevant information to provide accurate and up-to-date progress on ongoing partnership efforts across the country in scope.
  • Determines areas of intervention or bottlenecks hindering the progression of partnerships through continues development and execution of key partnership strategy and opportunities including ongoing cultivation of partners, key local influencers, G2G, B2B groups and agencies.
  • Highlights critical areas of concerns (escalates when needed) and defines mitigation actions including driving resolution to urgently eliminate and/or avoid the risk identified.
  • Manage and coordinate the activities of the SCISP office in the assigned partner countries.
  • Participates in the design and planning of and develop content for relevant local and global events relevant to the assigned partner countries as required such as CEO Forum.
  • Support identification of potential best approach of partnership opportunity realization, e.g., BOO, BOT, PPP, JV and assess, define and recommend financing options and incentives.
