JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• To review the Contract / Tender Documents, Tender Drawings, IFC Set for Package Electric work to find out the exact scope of work.
• Preparing Bill of Quantities for Electrical equipments & Various Low Current Systems i.e. Fire Alarm & Voice Evacuation System, Public Address System, CCTV System, Access Control System, Data & Telephony System, etc….
• Preparing Equipment schedule for BMS system & providing input to BMS specialist with Data point schedule.
• Selection of Luminaries & Wiring Devices as per client requirements.
• Raising Enquires for various Systems to Specified Manufacturers / Suppliers & Follow up with them to get a valid Quotation.
• Obtaining / maintaining Vendor follow up log for procurement progress record.
• Compiling the quotation for Scope of work, Project Specification requirements.
• Preparing Materials Submittal with suppliers for electrical equipments & various Low current systems and obtaining approvals from the main contractor / Consultant.
• Preparing Technical Comparison & Commercial Comparison & Authorizing / Finalizing vendors through Project Manager. Forwarding the Final Documents to Management for further orders through Purchase Dept.
• Preparing Load schedule for each panels to estimate the connected load & Maximum demand & Finalizing Load distribution Scheme & cable Sizing for each feeders.
• Preparing Voltage drop calculation from Transformer to each feeder up to final DB’s.
• Performing Short Circuit Calculation for each panel boards. Performing Capacitor bank calculation on each MDB’s to maintain Power factor valve float between local authorities specs.
• Selection of MV panels I.e., MV switch gear, RMU, Transformer & LV Power distribution panel boards i.e., MDB, SMDB, MCC, DB & Control Panel.
• Preparing/Assisting in Schematic diagram for MV, LV, LC Systems & plant room drawings & Electrical room layouts.
