1) Prepare and study technical drawings, specifications of mechanical systems to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements.
2) Plan layout of mechanical systems / specify direct modification of products to ensure conformance with the engineering design and performance specifications.
3) Oversee installation of engineering / mechanical products at construction sites fully
meeting technical specifications and operational and safety standards.Support documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications,codes, and customer requirements.
4) Inspect and investigate equipment failures / malfunctioning to diagnose causes of faulty operation and recommend modification/correction of equipment, component / system Attend to customers / clients\' technical queries and address concerns.
5) Support improvement of mechanical systems / components / facilities for engineering products for construction sites.
6) Supervise and train project team members as necessary Provide on-site direction and guidance to site personnel / contractors for enforcement of construction documents and specifications.
7) Design test control mechanism and equipment and develop procedures for testing products.Technically evaluate and test mechanical products and prepare technical reports Participate in regularly scheduled construction progress meetings coordinate with site management and support related construction efforts to ensure projects are completed satisfactorily, on time and within budget.

Co-op Training Course.

Perform replacement on diagnosed faulty electrical elements of machine including motors, relays, and switches; and set-up sensing mechanism, utilizing hand tools
Carry out diagnosis and correct or replace malfunctioning electronic units like the printed circuit boards
Carry out diagnosis and ensure replacement of pneumatic, mechanical, hydraulic components of equipment and machines which are faulty
May carry out assignments as electrician crane, time clock repairer, transformer coil winder, electrician rectifier, and maintenance salvage repairer; or function as underground repairer
Render assistance and manage contractors’ roles for electrical duties
Render assistance in administration and regulation of the duties of junior technicians
Organize safe maintenance principles for regulating and scheduling breakdowns.
