Job Purpose:
Responsible for the Retail Store operations and customer support for quality, customer profitability. Supervise the sales staff and sales floor. Provides support in coordination with the Company’s objectives, assists in stores promotional and optimal display of merchandising programs. Provides administrative functions including tracking, ordering, and managing inventory, ensuring store security. Keeps them well informed of activities and significant problems.
Job Tasks:
- Assist in setting goals for sales, service environment, merchandise moves, shrinkage figures and expense controls.
- To train staff and monitor their time and performance with customers.
- Determine and distribute work assignments to staff and ensures maintenance, cleaning and store appearance is up to company standards.
- Maintain highest standard of display inside the store ( Brand image).
- To make sure that the customer receives excellent customer service.
- Establish effective communication with sales personnel to ensure that they are following merchandising policies and programs.
- Maintains operational records, including daily transaction documents, sales reports, loss summaries.
- Assists in maintaining optimal merchandise levels and ensures that inventory is handled.
- To build up, motivate staff and work as a team in order to achieve sales targets.
- To maintain good discipline at all times.
- Maintains store-level compliance with company standards of safety and security.
- Performs other store duties as needed to ensure smooth operations and to meet customer needs.
- Participate in training employees, planning, assigning, addresses customer complaints and resolves problems.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years work experience as Shop Supervisor with proven track record
- of excellent leadership and supervising a team.
- Ability to organize people, time and resources at a level commensurate with the post.
- Ability to organize administrative processes effectively.
Personal Skills:
- Team player.
- Posses a strong interpersonal communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Ability to multi-task whenever necessary.
Technical Skills:
- Computer literate on Windows application and/or other packages is an advantage.
- Knowledge to operate office machines related to the job.
Physical Requirements:
- Mentally and physically fit.
- Good vision and hearing.
- Pleasing personality
- Patient, responsible and reliable.
- Flexible and positive thinker.
- Honest and trustworthy.
