Production Planning Engineer

a) To plan material for procurement and issue for production and also monitoring daily and weekly production status.

b) Receive work order from sales for execution, mark list from engineering to prepare material order list and forward it to project management to arrange procurement. Receive final mark list, shop sketches, cutting list, allocation sheet, MRI prepared and submitted to shop as fabrication / production package. Arrange to prepare packing list and submit it to the Project Management and Warehouse. Receive shipping information and documents from procurement for reference.

c) Collect necessary information related to planning department activities from project management and engineering.
Review of work order and schedule of activity to ascertain delivery target .

d) Prepare Material Order List considering available material of required or equivalent grade in free stock to minimize material order quantity.

e) Organizing free stock and project stock i.e. adding and subtracting as per TFS, RAF, MRR and MRI to have balance stock.

f) Prepare quarterly forward planning and effectively monitor for providing material for production.

g) To organize documentation of Material issue (i.e. cutting list, allocation sheet, off cut list, MRI) and Dispatch (i.e. Packing list to monitor production and dispatches).

h) To organize preparation of daily and weekly production report for information to higher management.

i) To organize follow up fabrication and galvanization of every mark number to reduce shortage and completion of projects.

j ) Ensure that related quality system procedure are being followed to comply quality policy.

Skills

1) Minimum 10 years experience in the field of material and production planning, preferably Structure steel, Transmission Line Tower area.
2) Fluent in English and Arabic.
3) Initiative and enthusiastic with result orientation.
4) Familiar with production Planning software and other computer skills (Microsoft etc...).
