Purpose of the Job (Overall accountability)• To plan, organize, manage, control, and coordinate the work activities and resources necessary for managing freight forwarding operations and sales by the Jubail Branch of the CFC division.Principal responsibilities / accountabilities• Ensures that laid down objectives from regional management for revenue generation from freight forwarding activities in the branch are met through expeditious service and effective marketing / sales / promotions activities.• Ensures the targets set for operations department in terms of customer satisfaction, on-time performance, claim frequency/y, SLAs and utilization of resources are achieved efficiently. • Manages all operation of the Jubail branch efficiently and ensures adherence to quality and service standards of CFC.• Ensures the timely availability of resources to the client.• Ensures quality adherence and coordinates with quality assurance in order to maintain the requisite level of quality as per CFC standards.• Monitors operations and initiates remedial actions where required in order to ensure efficiency of operations.• Monitors MIS on branch and provides timely updates / corrections as per requirements. • Assists CFC Regional Management in business development in his territory and in budget casting / control of expenses.• Manages resources and services as per contract terms and conditions in order to maintain efficiency and quality standards of CFC.• Generates new sales leads (both corporate and retail) for the branch and maintains business-oriented relationships with corporate clients.• Ensures effective roll out of planned special campaigns for the branch and maximizes conversion of promotional efforts into active sales.• Maintains requisite quality and coordinates availability / maintenance / utilization of fleet.• Ensures that branch personnel are of adequate numbers and competency to meet the planned production schedules.• Follows procedures of reporting on performance, budgets and other reports required from time to time to the Regional Manager. Experience/s Essential• Graduate Degree in Commerce / Administration with an additional qualification in Logistics-related field.• 4-6 years experience in freight branch management of a reputed organization. • Fluent in Arabic and working knowledge of EnglishPersonal Attributes/s
