Job Description
· Meets with Electrical superintendent every day to plan out work for next day.
· Prepare and submit the daily report to Electrical superintendent, report shall covers all faults occurred in the control room and their remedial action taken, and electricity consumed.
· Ensure that the work is carried out in a safe manner and with in the requirements of CRISTAL loss control regulation.
· Review and study the system operation crew performance during fault occur and remedial action taken.
· Closely monitor the supervisor activities during the all complaints from operation dept & other dept and follow up till the problem solved and restore the power.
· Prepare and submit the weekly as well as monthly reports which cover all failure problems and remedial actions taken to manager E&I and Electrical Supt.
· Review and discuss the switching program when it is required to perform switching operation in all MCCs and energy centre. Monitor the execution activities of the switching program.
· Monitor the financial performance of a given area of activity versus budgets so that areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified and rectified promptly and potential performance improvement opportunity are capitalized upon.
· Issue the monthly report of energy consumption for all areas.
Skills
· B.E degree in Electrical
· 10 -Year relevant operation & maintenance experience in chemical, petrochemical plant.
· Should have a thoroughly theoretical knowledge of the functioning of different types of motors and their control.
· Should have knowledge of various types of VSDs and soft starters.
· Should have knowledge of SCADA system application.
· Should be able to read control circuit diagram.
· Should be able to design electrical control circuit.
· Should have knowledge of HV/LV switchgears and their control.
