1. Job Objective
Responsible for financial and management accounting, account reconciliations, monthly reporting, and financial analysis. Profile will include financial and management reporting based on the requirements of Company.
2. Job Outputs and Responsibilities
• Financial accounting including statutory and corporate accounting including preparation of necessary journal entries for all organizations
• Implement and maintain accounting systems and controls.
• Provide structuring assistance on corporate and project financing transactions to ensure maximum benefits are realized from an accounting perspective on these transactions.
• Propose and agree with Finance Director, financial accounting and risk management practices and procedures and the accounting treatment of key revenue, expenditure, and balance sheet items.
• Reconcile bank statements for all organizations
• Support the preparation of annual and longer-term financial plans and budgets for the Business.
• Maintain the business’ books of account, and ensure that it complies with relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure month end reporting completed (meeting timetable and calculating accruals/prepayments).
• Coordinate with subsidiary companies relating to accounting practices and procedures.
• Contribute actively to the development of the Financial Control function.
• Maintain professional awareness of accounting standards and the regulatory and statutory requirements applying to the business.
• Apply the policies, procedures, rules, and regulations of the company at all times in the course of business transaction.
• Other additional duties with relevance to the job.
