Job Description
Maintaining the operations of the company to ensure continued efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction, emphasizing on future stability and growth of the company.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Managing all departments, operations, and functions of the company.
• Reviewing the structure and responsibility of all functions to ensure the continued effectiveness of the quality system and company operations.
• Develop company policies, objectives, and strategies subjected for the approval of the Managing Director.
• Responsible for preparation of annual budget, approving it from the Managing Director, and closely monitoring of its achievement.
• Review and approve the provision for necessary resources to achieve company objectives, and seek final approval from the Managing Director.
• Selection and hiring of competent senior managers and senior staff level in coordination with the Managing Director.
• Creating the proper work environment to perform the work, and motivate employees to achieve company objectives.
• Oversee quotations, orders, production, and delivery of major projects in cooperation with concerned managers.
• Maintain good relations with key interested parties, e.g. customers, suppliers, governmental organizations, banks, etc.
• Prepare the necessary information and statistical reports as may be required by the Managing Director.
Skills
COMPETENCE REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION
• University graduate, preferably with Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Background.
• Masters degree in Engineering or Business Administration is preferred.
EXPERIENCE
• At least 15 Years experience in reputable manufacturing firms, out of them minimum of 5 years as General/Senior Manager.
• Experience in handling people and projects.
TRAINING
• Technical training in the lighting field is essential.
• Training in the human development area, e.g. communication, negotiation, etc. is preferred.
SKILLS
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Outstanding leadership and managerial skills.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.
• Computer literate, familiar with Windows, Microsoft Office, and other necessary applications.
• Good appearance and presentation.
