Job Description

• The purpose of the CFO role is to provide strategic direction and management of the Commercial (incl Finance and Procurement) and HR functions of ****. To provide proactive advice and guidance to **** MD & Exco in respect to all financial; HR; legal; statutory; procurement and business administration matters affecting the company. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring the organisation meets all financial and employment statutory standards and regulations. To ensure that Corporate Governance is in place for **** and that the appropriate meetings and reporting is adhered to.

• Manages the Finance and HR teams and is responsible for procurement; financial; legal; statutory and business administration functions.

Operational Excellence – Finance, HR, Procurement and Business Administration

• To ensure the appropriate Financial Policies and Standards are set and adhered to.
• To be involved in all material contract and legal negotiations
• To provide support and Financial input for all Client acquisition and Client development activities including cost and pricing models, SLA’s etc..
• To ensure that a client’s Statutory Financial Requirements are addressed in ****’s interactions with that clients.
• Act as Chairman for Appeal Hearings in employee relations cases.

Financial Success

• To oversee the preparation of the annual budgets.
• To ensure that monthly reporting and forecasting is on time and materially accurate to the CEO.
• To continuously review progress and ensure that all steps are being taken to ensure that **** is financially sound and to ensure any significant issues are flagged to the CEO.
• To support the CEO in Board and Exco management pack presentations and submissions
• To support BNCC Business development functions in the financial modeling and costing areas.
• To ensure maximum employee engagement and employee performance at all levels of the organization through integrated HR policies and procedures.
• To provide advice and guidance to the managers to assist them in achieving their targets.
• To ensure the annual audit is successfully completed by the Group Auditors with no significant issues.
• To ensure that **** Working Capital Management meets budgeted targets.

Client Relations

• To be the Executive Sponsor on selected Clients and work with the account team to ensure that the customer’s expectations are met or exceeded.
• To assist the Business Development and Operations teams in dealing with financial issues and proposals that impact new and existing clients.
• To help identify issues that impact the customer’s willingness to pay their invoices and work with the appropriate management to address the issues. ‘Happy customers pay their bills”.
• Own the legal framework and documentation required for all customer, vendor and partner engagements.

Skills

Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification, MBA or similar

Experience

• Senior financial management experience of a commercial organization, preferably a services/BPO or IT business in Service and/or IT business with a turnover in excess of $10m.
• Proven Financial Management experience to global standards.
• Board or Senior Executive Committee experience is desirable.
• Experience in dealing with multinational or other offshore subsidiaries
• Proven experience in handling large and complex contractual negotiations
• Understanding of key commercial drivers in operating contact centres
