Directing all activities regarding sales, controlling and monitoring administration issues, distribution, and technical operations for assigned branch, in a manner that achieves the sales targets and provides the proper support for the customers to satisfy their needs within the anticipated level of quality.
Duties and Responsibilities in Details :
Implementing Policies, Goals and Strategies into Plans and Programs
•Participating in implementing and transforming policies, goals and plans into medium and short-term plans to ensure internal work development and productivity increase
•Participating in the development of the division′s/ department′s work plan; distributing and following-up on work activities, projects and programs, monitoring work flow and reviewing work methods and procedures
•Suggesting plans and programs that strive to boost the effectiveness of the department
•Conducting periodic meetings with subordinates to ensure that priorities are clear and actions are running smoothly
Executive and Technical Duties
•Coordinating technical, distribution, warehousing, and sales staff in accordance with policies, principles, and procedures
•Conferring with customers and representatives of associated industries to evaluate and promote improved and expanded services in the branch
•Developing plans for efficient use of materials, machines, and employees
•Reviewing operations associated costs and product quality, and modifying sales and inventory control programs to maintain and enhance profitable operation of branch
•Reviewing operations of competing organizations and planning and directing sales program to develop new markets
•Directing preparation of branch accounting records to be forwarded to management
•Recommending budgets to management in a manner that ensures the financial coverage to all the anticipated operations
•Overseeing the branch support activities, such as accounting, administration, and distribution to ensure their effectiveness and efficiency
General Administrative Duties
•Preparing periodic reports with respect to the branch′s activities and achievements to be submitted to the direct supervisor
•Specifying manpower requirements according to recruitment and selection and human resources planning practices
•Participating in determining training needs of subordinates and evaluating the outcomes of training courses in coordination with the concerned human resources personnel
General Administrative Duties…cont.
•Following-up employee affairs including vacations, leaves …etc
•Conducting performance appraisals for subordinates according to scheduled plans and recommending necessary actions as per the applied practices
•Nominating a deputy to carry out the responsibility of the position whenever the need arises
• Performing other duties related to the job as assigned by the direct supervisor
