• Auto Cad Operator′s role is to assist the Manager of Auto Cad Section to successfully establish the new Auto Cad Section and to undertake all phases, activities and tasks within specified time, cost and quality constraints, to achieve the Company strategic plan objectives.
• Create quick actions utilizing the command language of the system to assist in drawing creation.
• Utilize knowledge of mathematics in the preparation of drawings.
• Perform routine to complex assignments requiring a thorough knowledge of computer aided drafting system standards, practices and techniques.
• Develop increased proficiency in system operation with a resulting increase in productivity, and learns how to use all software options.
• Analyse sketches, notes, and other input material to determine best approach to complete drawings.
• Apply judgment and make decisions with respect to drawings and input interpretation.
• Review work performed to determine accuracy with input from supervisor.
• Preparation of Architectural and Structural shop drawings list with coordination.
• Preparation of productivity drawings schedule.
• Review all project schedules in comparison to the base line schedule.
• Preparation of structural shop drawings from bottom to top for various Buildings constructions (Residential Buildings, Commercial Complex, Hotels and Malls).
• Preparation of Architectural shop drawings for all internal and external finishing activities (Ceramic, Marble and Ceiling taking into consideration of Architect concept).
• Preparation of preliminary Structural drawings (Drafting, Column schedule with details, Beams schedule with details, Framing plan, Ramps, Staircase and related section).
• Reviewing and checking of shop drawings prepared by the Junior Cad Operators.
• Coordination of Architectural and Structural drawings, and, incorporating the Electro-Mechanical details if required.
• Revision of submitted shop drawings (Architectural and Structural drawings) as commented by Consultant till obtaining the final approved for construction.
• Follow up for submitted schedule of drawings.
• Preparation of As-Built drawings using the data reported from site.
• Supervise Junior Cad Operators.
• Adhere to Company safety procedures.
• Perform additional assignments as requested by immediate supervisor.
• Bachelor Degree in engineering or drafting technology
• Technical training in related fields
• Computers (CAD, MS Office, MS Project, MS Visio), etc.
• Knowledge in Construction related management software
• Minimum eight (8) years experience performing computer aided drafting (CAD), at senior level position.
