Job Description
The candidate will be responsible for data entry of facultative reinsurance placements to ensure proper recording of the reinsurance placements as negotiated by underwriters.
Other duties include creating and submitting ceded facultative reinsurance certificates for companies, creating Proofs of Loss for facultative claims, updating Umbrella Rating Worksheets in the master database, initiating payments of treaty deposit premiums in accordance with contract terms, maintaining department files to ensure all documents are accessible, and other misc. administrative duties.
Skills
-Must have 2+ years of reinsurance or insurance accounting experience.
-HS Diploma or GED
-Prefer Associates Degree
-Strong Computer Skills
-Strong oral and writing skills
-Ability to remain organized in high volume environment along with ability to prioritize
-Must be detail oriented and able to meet deadlines.
-Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
