Job Description
As an Assistant Sales Manager, you will be managing a fast paced store providing excellent customer service experience to all customers. You will be accountable to maximise store contribution through exploiting every opportunity to drive sales. Lead by example the Department Managers to reduce stock loss, maximize merchandising opportunities and maintain cost controls. * Assist in managing space, stock & seasonal layout, deliver excellent customer service. Monitor out of stock, fast/slow selling lines. Assist in promotions and seek opportunities to maximize sales.* Follow brand layout guidelines to display merchandise and follow company policies & procedure with regard to housekeeping & presentation.* Strive to achieve stock loss targets, carry out all loss prevention activities and check for staff awareness of stock loss issues.* Deputize for Sales Manager, coach & develop new & existing team members.* Supervise administrative duties in line with company policies & procedures.* Identify issues & clearly communicate to Line Manager.* Minimum 4 years retail management experience. * Good communication skills. * Good general education.* Extensive leadership, decision making, planning, organizing and relationship building skills. * Bilingual (Arabic & English) Preferrable.* PC skills such as Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Word.
