Job Description
1. Responsible for overseeing, evaluating and negotiating IT contracts and purchasing of equipment, telecommunications, maintenance and supplies from vendors as approved by the MIS Administrator
2. Coordinates, manages and tracks IT projects, activities and schedules and identifies and resolves issues to ensure resources are utilized appropriately and all phases are documented accordingly.
3. Supervises and maintains all computer equipment, hardware, and software information to meet organizational needs. Maintains documentation for multiple functional areas including data control, applications training, technician coordination and scheduling.
4. Manages and coordinates calls, pmail and personnel requests for technical support for all system end users on a variety of issues which include office machines, telecommunications, programs and software applications to ensure a timely resolution by MIS staff. Identifies, researches, and resolves application and technical problems when applicable. Participates directly in the work of the individuals supported.
5. Assesses organization′s computer taining needs and requirements. Negotiates with vendors for IT training programs as approved by the MIS Administrator. Coordinates and implements basic computer training and on-going education for employees as approved by the MIS Administrator, Oversees progress and effectiveness of training programs.
