Job Description
• Overall management of the project. Should be able to delegate assignments to subordinates and help them accomplish targeted jobs.
• Core experience in construction/installation of HV Substations essential
• Coordinate all activities of the project team.
• Monitor, budget and implement cost control effectively.
• Manage, review & monitor all the activities related to planning, Design & Engineering, Procurement, sub-contracting and construction.
• Direct Liaison & Maintain Cordial relations with the client(s).
• Delegation of authority to different members of Project team and monitor their performance as per their job description.
• Implementation of procedures related to Project Administration, Personnel Administration, Logistics, accounting, transportation, recruitments etc.
• Implementation of the approved Project Quality System and Loss Prevention Program.
• Adequately handle the Project interfaces.
Skills
BSc. or B.E. in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
Post –Graduate Management qualifications will be a distinct advantage
Having 12-15 years experience in the field of Power Projects, out of which a minimum of 5 years as Project Manager in high voltage substation projects. (66kV or 69 kV Substations)
Dynamic, self-starting abilities and sound communication skills essential.
