Job Description
POSITION DESCRIPTION: The candidate will be assigned to operate various complex laboratory equipment operated under high pressures and/or temperatures to: 1. study the petro physical and mechanical properties of reservoir cores, or 2. identify chemical characteristics and study phase behaviour of reservoir fluids, or 3. identify oil-oil and oil-source rock correlations, or 4. develop and optimize drilling fluids and cement slurries, or 5. evaluate the impact of new chemical additives to the drilling fluids on well productivity and formation damage, or 6. evaluate, optimize and design the most effective wellbore stimulation treatments.
Skills
SELECTION CRITERIA: 10 years of work related experience or B.S. or higher in Petroleum or Chemical Engineering, Geology, Petroleum Geology, Organic Geochemistry, or Chemistry (less preferred). Good interpersonal skills including the ability to contribute in a team environment and independently. Excellent command of English language, both oral and written. Good computer skills, especially in M.S. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
