Job Outline:
To undertake assigned drafting responsibilities to assist in producing engineering drawings (mechanical and electrical) using computer-aided design software, in accordance with company engineering procedures and standards.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Working from drawings and information from engineers to draft drawings and details as required.
2. Incorporate red line corrections on drawings.
3. Assist in the preparation of engineering drawings for release to manufacture, construction and As-Built drawings upon project completion.
4. Perform additional functions as required by management.
3-5 years experience in using CAD software for the creation of engineering design and field construction drawings.
Proficient in the use of AUTOCAD and Microstation and have experience in drafting in an engineering environment.
Familiar with symbols and terminology related to electrical and mechanical engineering drawings.
