Job Outline:
To identify and assist in the development of business opportunities in the company’s target market to generate product sales for company growth.
Duties & responsibilities:
1. For product, to prepare quotations in a timely manner and to negotiate commercial value and contract terms to meet both customer and company needs.
2. For projects and services, to coordinate with tendering engineers and the technical department for the timely submission of project tenders to customers.
3. To interface with customers and manage customer relationships in a professional manner that enhances the company’s image.
4. To prepare the complete quotation offering in the standard presentation format, or as required by the customer.
5. Identify, develop and maintain business contacts and relationships to promote company services and obtain information on upcoming projects and projects out for bid.
6. Follow-up with customers on submitted offers and work with the technical department for all technical questions that may arise.
7. Provide input on pricing, key buying factors, key customer contacts and decision makers for all project opportunities.
8. Assist management by providing accurate data for win/loss analysis on all major bid results.
9. Support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events to help propagate and advance awareness of company products and services.
10. Meet defined sales targets to ensure sustainable company growth.
3-5 years work experience in product and project/service based sales.
Applicant should be familiar with preparing quotations, negotiating payment terms and as well as preparing complete tender/quotation offerings.
Applicant should relevant experience in expanding existing as well as developing new markets by identifying and analyzing market trends.
Applicant shall also have related experience in marketing to promote the penetration of new products and services.
Applicant should have strong computer (windows, MS Office) interpersonal and presentation skills.
Strong communication (verbal and written) skills are a must.
