Specific Accountabilities
•Safety – ensuring that design focuses on safety in construction, maintenance and operation.
•TRCF
•Safety Audits
•Ensure that work place is safe.
•Be pro-active in safety.
•Team meetings (Minutes). Show evidence of safety discussions.
•Ensure work done meets all acceptance criteria with respect to safety, quality, technical competency, cost and schedule.
•% Overall rework = Rework hours / project total hours for assigned work.
•Monitor progress, budget and schedule.
•Overall man-hour key performance indicators for assigned work.
•Approaches Supervisor to discuss training and development needs.
•Training and development action items closed out.
•Conduct site investigations.
•$ Actual/Budget, for assigned work. Evidence of investigations.
•Prepare detail designs in conjunction with engineers.
•Produce work packs & drawings.
•Project % cost overrun = $ Actual/Budget, for assigned work.
•Ensure that the level of design work is appropriate for the complexity of the construction tasks.
•No over engineering.
•Ensure work done conforms to the applicable specifications, codes and standards.
•% Design rework = Design rework hours / design total hours for assigned work. Audits.
•Liaison with other disciplines on technical issues.
•Evidence of interaction.
•Knowledge and compliance with Worley drafting procedures and drawing systems and applications.
•Audits (internal).
•Quality Assurance – Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to the BU, etc
•Safety – Responsible for personal safety safe working practices for the BU, etc. Understand and follow OH&S procedures.
Skills
•Relevant approved certificate from a state or technical education department or equivalent.
•Ten years experience in the oil and gas industry. To work without direct supervision and to be able to provide advice and direction to others.
