A Mentor provides information, advice and guidance to help “Hard to Help” job seekers make realistic decisions about motivation, training and work. In addition to careers advice, the Mentor offers personal development support.
The Mentor will have planning and organisational skills to ensure that all “Hard to Help” Hafiz job seekers are given appropriate assistance in building activity levels to enhance their chances of starting and sustaining work. We would also expect Mentors to be multi-functional and able to deliver small group based interventions and other facilitated learning
