Job Description
The Production Manager ensures that production of Stainless Steel products meets or exceeds efficiency and company quality standards. In addition, the Production Manager ensures that facilities and processes conform to standards by managing Quality Systems and documents.
1. Manages employees in the work environment to ensure safety, quality and productivity.
2. Implements existing production recipes and makes adjustments as necessary to produce products within specifications.
3. Fills in process sheets containing instructions for employees.
4. Monitors quality of incoming materials and finished products by reviewing lab data.
5. Develops and recommends improvements of facilities, equipment, or procedures to improve safety, quality, and efficiency.
6. Oversees and or conducts training of new or existing employees.
7. Monitors usage of utilities to ensure efficiency of operations.
8. Helps develop, update and maintain procedures and documentation for all Quality Systems, including Production methods and paperwork.
Skills
- Minimum of 7 years experience in the same domain.
- Ability to develop the production.
- Ability to manage the team.
- Ability to implement the production plans and execute it.
