Purpose:
• To provide back office support to the sales team by providing customers with quotations, clarification of Terms & Conditions in quotations (commercial & technical) in response to RFQ and tenders.
• To process orders and ensure Company’s terms are accepted and planned margins are achieved.
• To produce monthly sales plan, forecasting and budget reports to management
Key Functions:
External:
• Produce/maintain professional commercial and technical responses and quotations.
• Meeting agreed deadlines and speed of response with internal and external customers.
• Continuously introduce innovative processes to enhance customer satisfaction
• Ensure satisfaction of long term/loyal/strategic customers.
• Participate, as a backup to GM Sales when required, in customers’ negotiations to support sales managers for major contracts.
Internal:
• Meet margin targets set in budget for order intake and other commercial conditions.
• Set and maintain monthly target margins in conjunction with GM Sales KSA and VP Sales
• Improve/maintain relationships with sales, technical, planning and logistics departments.
• Coordinate sales forecasting and publication of monthly sales plan (Expected invoiced sales)
• Timely submission of management report/ statistics.
• Provide technical and commercial support to sales team
• Coordinate branch invoicing and collection activities.
• Provide analytical reports to management as required
• Degree in Accounting, knowledge of contracting/engineering industries essential.
• Knowledge of budget planning, sales forecasting desirable
• Computer literate - ERP (Oracle preferred), excel, word, internet.
• At least 6 years experience in sales/commercial/estimating/customer service environment at a senior manager level.
