Mechanical Engineer

Recommend, supervise installation and maintain all equipment.

Provides input on improvements and changes to equipment and operation procedures. Develop plans to implement such improvements

Develops, performs, documents and maintains regularly scheduled maintenance.

Sketches, draws and modifies prints and schematics for new equipment or equipment upgrades

Mentors other maintenance and department personnel on safe equipment operation.

Observes all health and safety rules and implements all policies, practices and procedures

College Degree related to a technical field plus five years of related work experience.

Practical knowledge of Mechanical principles and control circuits, experience with heating and air handling systems, pneumatics and hydraulics.

Basic CAD drafting skills helpful

Demonstrated ability to diagnose, repair and maintain equipment.

Electrical or electronic and mechanical troubleshooting skills

Demonstrated creativity in identifying problems and developing solutions.

Demonstrated ability to develop and implement preventative maintenance schedule and carry them out for the equipment.

Able to operate required material handling equipment.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Knowledge of chemistry and Design of Experiments a plus.

Excellent English communication skills
