A: Fault handling for devices on DSLAM, MSAN & RAN ADSL systems
The expert in ATAC is going to do the following functions, but not limited to:

• Support O&M team on fault handling and performance functions for DSLAM, MSAN & RAN ADSL systems.
• Support O&M ATAC team to analyze the failures for DSLAM, MSAN & RAN ADSL systems.
• Support O&M ATAC Team for Preventive and Corrective maintenance for DSLAM, MSAN & RAN ADSL systems.
• Support O&M ATAC team on managing and ensure stability of DSLAM, MSAN & RAN ADSL systems through iManager N2000 NMS Systems.
• Study and identify the knowledge gaps in O&M ATAC team related to DSLAM, MSAN & RUN ADSL systems and conduct necessary On-job training (OJT) to increase knowledge level.

B: Configuration and Integration of DSLAM, MSAN & RAN ADSL systems
The expert in ATAC is going to do the following functions, but not limited to:

• Support O&M ATAC team to coordinate and implement Software and hardware upgrade.
• Support O&M ATAC team to review the fault handling of DSLAM, MSAN & RAN ADSL and issue necessary work instructions to reduce the risk and fault cycle time.
• Support O&M ATAC team to review the performance of DSLAM, MSAN, RAN ADSL, issue necessary technical investigation reports to improve the performance.

NOTE:

• The expert will be directly under management of STC’s ATAC department for the duration of contract in STC.
• The expert will have to abide by all the rules governing the staff of ATAC department related to working hours and special duty hours.
• The expert will have to execute his responsibilities as STC’s ATAC department’s instructions.
• STC will evaluate the expert if he meets STC’s expectations and requirements.

Skills

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

Expert should have an experience in the following area:
• Knowledge of MA5600, UA5000, MA5100 & MA5103
• Hands-on experience with Internet protocols (TCP/IP, SMTP, Routing protocols, 802.1Q etc.)
• Hands-on knowledge on Data network; voice; TDM; Frame relay and ATM.
• Designing, managing and troubleshooting fault in DSLAM, MSAN & RAN ADSL systems.

EDUCATION:

• BSc in related field of Science with communication experience.

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 5 years in telecommunication system, and at least 3 years in Maintenance of devices of Access Network.
• Good knowledge of Data Communication protocols.
