Site Engineer

• Ensure that the project is completed within the contract program and meets industry quality standards
• Liaise with other members of the site team, including the site manager, the quantity surveyor, the foreman and sub-contractors in relationship to program and quality.
• Conduct regular safety checks and ensure that health and safety procedures are carried out.
• Resolve any unforeseen problems that may cause delays to the project’s completion.
• Ensure that the works are supervised and the labors are working productively.
• Must give direction to the General Foreman by reading the plans and issuing instructions for work.

Skills

• A thorough understanding of the issues involved in large Roads or infrastructure and building projects
• 5 years experience in project management.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, primavera or MS Project
