1. Basic Function:
Performs and carries out a variety of activities in the Human Resources department relating topersonnel administration, compensation and benefits and training and recruitment as assigned.
2. Work Performed :a. Performs all or any combination of the following activities as assigned.
- Personnel AdministrationProcesses personnel action forms. Includes vacations, airfares, termination procedures, final settlement, GOSI entitlements, medical documentation,e guidance procedures, overtime calculations, payroll deductions, etc. Liaises with departments to coordinate vacation schedules and arranges for airline reservations in advance as required. Verifies and calculates per diem and work assignment allowance and ensures compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Compensation and BenefitsReviev.s employee performance reports, calculates merit increases and prepares letter to employees in that respect and submits it via supervisor for further processing.Assists and coordinates the compilation of manpower budget figures and prepares related reports as instructed.Participates in the process of job analysis, description and evaluation as directed.
-Training and RecruitmentParticipates in the process of recruitment. Includes handling of personnel requisitions, screening applications, conducting preliminary interviews,g with line managers for applicant interviews, processing selected candidates for employment, sending out reference check letters, arrangingemployment medical tests and examinations, visas, etc.Assists in the selection of training programs suitable to employee needs. Includes liaising with training centers, inside and outside the Kingdom and participating in evaluating seminars and programs referred to the Company from various sources.Participates in evaluating progress and results of employees attending training programs in-house, on the job and abroad - and prepares related reports for review.Makes available to line managers and others information on training seminars and otherprograms related to Company activities.b. Maintains comprehensive files for the activities of the section where assigned.c. Participates in compiling departmental budget.d. Performs similar or other related duties as assigned.
a. B.A. in Personnel Management, Industrial Relations or equivalent, plus 5 years experience in personnel work including administration, compensation and benefits and training and recruitment. OR-Completion of Secondary (12 years) education plus 10 years experience in personnel work as above.-Fluency in English.-Computer literate, PC applications.
