Export And Import Coordinator

• Coordinate shipments from/to various factories​/​s for your assigned accounts
• To serve clients professionally & efficiently in accordance with documented & globally agreed procedures.
• Adhere at all times to the rules & regulations pertaining to the process of handling your clients. This includes but is not limited to documents, systems as well as finance requirements.
• Pro active exception management in case of changes to scheduled shipment.
• Carefully manage a close working relationship with all key parties; local exporters, suppliers in addition to overseas contacts.
• Interact directly with external providers such as shipping lines.
• Constantly work to improve data quality to obtain zero defects.
• Identify opportunities in the market & forward them to logistics services and Logistics brand in the market.
• Be a key player in promoting the Logistics services and Logistics brand in the market.
• To attend client​/​r workshops or meeting. This may include limited travel as required by the position.

Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics industry preferable with a shipping line or freight forwarder
• Be system-minded and willing to learn new systems industry preferable with a shipping line or freight forwarder
• University degree
• Highly motivated and able efficiently to deliver on time every time
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
