A world class regional and multi-national cable manufacturer, part of a conglomerate industrial group based in Saudi Arabia, seeks individuals with sales experience in the PowerUtility for Sales Account Managers (SAM) positions for the GCC.Specific Industry sales experience (Utility/n/Traction) is abig plus. These are full-time positions based in the major cities of the GCC.
Position Summary: The Sales Account Manager’s primary responsibility is to create and to develop ongoing business relationships with our existing and new client’s senior managers, technical supervisors, engineers and technicians to respond to their power cable needs with our group’s cable product range. The Sales Account Manager works closely with our Technical Sales Support, contractors, distributors and Channel Sales.Compensation Package: The Compensation Package includes base salary (based on experience), a sales compensation plan, a housing allowance, a transportation allowance, medical coverage, yearly home leave, and end of service compensation.
Functional Description:The Sales Account Manager responsibilities include the following functions.1) Responsible for the creation, implementation and execution of Sales funnels.2) Generate and maintain a credible forecast for accounts and territories and provide this informationon a regular basis to Senior Management.3) Serve as the primary customer contact for technical and business issues for those accounts andterritories assigned. Work with Sales Support Engineers on all technical issues.4) Be able to personally conduct a basic product presentation and discuss basic RFQ technical specifications with clients
• Education: Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from a reputable university with high rank.• Experience: At least 3 years industry (power utility) sales experience or related sales. Cables, generators, transformers sales experience a major plus.• Travel: may be required 25% to 50% of the time. May be require to relocate to other sales offices in the GCC
