This position drives revenue growth with resellers, representatives and distributors within the assigned region. The Regional Sales Manager- KSA will work home office and lead the recruitment, development and revenue attainment of new and existing channels within the assigned region.

Summary

Develop and implement sales, marketing and business development strategies in accordance with ARVENTO’s business goals and strategies in the region. Build market position by identifying, developing, defining, negotiating and closing new routes to market and develop reseller and partner channel. Provide on-site sales and technical training, support and consultancy to resellers, partners and their employees. Coordinate sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals for the resellers. Determine performance metrics for the sales channel; resellers, partners and employees. Monitor and analyze sales, marketing and business development activities against goals. Act as the liaison person for both technical and sales related matters in the region.

Primary Responsibilities

  1. Direct and coordinate company sales, marketing and business development operations in the region.

  2. Develop and coordinate sales selling cycle, identify new routes to market through strategic reseller partnerships that lead to significant revenue opportunities.

  3. Research and develop strategies and plans which identify market opportunities and new project development.

  4. Actively engage in business development activities including the attending of tradeshows, sales meetings and workshops

  5. Develop programs and coverage models to support new routes and new partnerships.

  6. Promote positive relations with partners, vendors, and resellers and represent the company at various communities.

  7. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external key stakeholders to ensure proper messaging of company beliefs and service offerings.

  8. Directly manage major and critical developing client accounts, and coordinate the management of all other accounts. Attend sales meetings personally and realize sales goals.

  9. Provide sales and technical consultancy for resellers, partners and their employees by on-site trainings, demonstrations and role modeling.

  10. Provide technical consultancy to the customers by trainings and technical support.

  11. Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate resellers, partners and their employees.

  12. Plan and direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and service programs.

General Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from related departments of universities and preferably an MBA degree

  • At least 8 years of sales experience with 5 years in channel sales in M2M or related technologies in a senior management position

  • Demonstrated experience developing sales strategies to consistently grow revenues through channels and proven sales track record in a new product/new market environment

  • Experience managing and implementing proactive tactics to overcome channel conflict with direct sales

  • Deep understanding of financial affairs

  • Ability to plan and manage at both the strategic and operational levels

  • Outstanding consultative selling abilities and excellent interpersonal skills

  • Dynamic, result-oriented and self-motivated executive with high degree of work discipline, ethical standards and sense of responsibility

  • Excellent oral/written communications skills in English and Arabic

  • Willing to travel up to 40% of the time
