1. Role Objective: a. Responsible for the implementation of the company’s QA/QC policies and procedures on job sites. b. Gives feedback on the QA/QC findings on the job site to the QA/QC Manager. c. Ensures Quality standards are met throughout the project implementation and make recommendations when required. d. Supports in the development and update the QA/QC statistics.

2. Detailed Roles & Responsibilities: STRATEGIC

1) Responsible for developing, maintaining and updating the systems needed to compile and record Company’s quality statistics.

2) Responsible for developing, maintaining and updating the systems needed to compile and record Company’s methods statement in coordination with Construction.

OPERATIONAL

1) Advises on site staff and non- staff employees on Amana quality standards.

2) Compiles the Project Quality Plan for the project and interfaces with the consultant/client to obtain approval.

3) Ensures the implementation of QA/QC plan on projects.

4) Ensures that all measures and testing equipments used at site are compatible for use and calibrated by professional bodies’.

5) Ensures material specifications and construction works are in compliance with quality standards and contract specifications.

6) Reviews subcontractor’s documents and ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.

7) Issues Non Conformance Reports (NCRs) as necessary and ensures follow-up and closing.

8) Visits laboratories to ensure proper testing and inspection of materials.

9) Maintains archives for concrete pouring, concrete cubes, calibration certificates, inspection request files, lab testing reports, quality control procedures, and inspection testing plan.

10) Takes construction site photographs on a weekly basis.

11) Conducts periodic internal Quality Audit of project activities

12) Responsible for compiling the final quality documentation in accordance with the conditions of contract.

13) Recommends and implements appropriate procedures to implement quality standards.

14) Assists in the preparation of the internal/external monthly report.

15) Prepares monthly Quality Report and submit it to the Quality Manager.

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT

1) Assists in the training and development of personnel in the QA/QC department Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Management.
