Central Operations is responsible, throughout all Middle East markets, for country profitability focusing on loss prevention, audit and customer service, at the same time driving consistent operational efficiency and best practice in all stores via the company standard operating procedures. Acting as a central point of store communication for the business, the team also protects the company's reputation, supports new brand openings and resolves any issues and problems on the ground.
The Role:As Operations Services Coordinator for Starbucks in Jeddah, you will coordinate all operational activities to drive the development of the Starbucks experience and brand equity in the local market. You will work closely with Starbucks team members as well as support function teams of various Alshaya departments (Finance, IT, Audit, etc.) in order to achieve business KPIs and contribute to the success of the Starbucks brand.
Responsibilities will include:* Data collection, consolidation, analysis and reporting of information in relation to FRS in Jeddah's operating market* Advising the Market Operations Manager on operational KPI`s and measures, including (but not limited to) COGs, merchandise and food sales, and stock consumptions* Taking the lead to work cross-functionally with market-specific support functions to ensure effective implementation, progress monitoring, and results evaluation for programmes (including SOA and Learning Audit checklists)* Coordinating all promotional and marketing activities alongside the operations team to ensure consistency with existing marketing programmes, materials and promotions* Analysing reports and providing recommendations to the business on how to improve performance* Responding to feedback requests from operations and support functions and communicating your findings across the business* Following up on recommendations made by the Operations Support Manager and providing specific information and data from the market when requested* Providing project-related training to different support functions, various departments and third parties as required.
Qualifications & Requirements:You will have:* Minimum 1 year's experience working within a Communications environment* Highly developed PC skills, including knowledge of programs such as Microsoft Excel* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Arabic.
The ideal candidate will come from an analytical working background, and be able to produce evidence of previously working with reports within structured timelines. Previous experience of coordinating across MENA markets would also be an advantage.
