Our Loss Prevention team works across all divisions, brands and geographies, to protect the assets and profit of the business and mitigate the risk of loss. Working pro-actively, following lines of investigation as well as providing insight and recommendations to divisions, our Loss Prevention team works across all brands and regions giving them valuable exposure to a range of sectors and environments that ultimately deliver bottom line profit to the business.The Role:As a Health & Safety Manager, you will work within a specific large single-site Alshaya brand ensuring the safety and security of employees, customers, visitors and neighbouring businesses through structured and formalized risk assessment and prevention measures.
Specifically you will:* Monitor the environmental conditions for staff and customers, evaluating and mitigating risk while implementing safety and security programs* Be responsible for all aspects of fire precautions, evacuations and preventive maintenance for fire control* Implement security and hygiene programs* Review and analyse reports and data to understand and communicate risks and drive activity* Overseeing the Medical Service's activities.
Qualifications and Requirements:You will have:* At least 5 years' experience in health & safety and/or civil protection* NEBOSH certification or equivalent -M.A. in civil protection desirable* Knowledge of fire and security systems, emergency evacuation procedures and alarms* A proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risk.
