POSITION SUMMARY:
Provides engineering and technical support to KKIA as directed by the Owner.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
- Conducts engineering investigations.- Determines causes of any defect, imperfection, fault or other problems.- Provides engineering and technical evaluations required for the repair, rectification or resolution of such matter.- Establishes and implements a Life Cycle and Value Engineering.- Carries out special studies of specific problem areas and prepares reports and recommendations.- Prepares designs, drawings and technical specifications.- Reviews and investigates all reported deficiencies or errors in as-built drawings.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university in electrical engineering.- Association with recognized electrical engineering societies is a plus.
EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in Electrical Engineering, systems, installations, maintenance and repair including experience in airport related equipment and systems.- Well-versed with the American codes like building codes, National Electric Codes, etc.
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS:
Proficiency in English and knowledge of Arabic desirable.
OTHERS:
- Valid vehicle operator's license from country of origin.- Ability to read and work from technical documents and to prepare records and reports.- Expats must hold a transferable Iqama or must be ready for transfer
